The Northern Lights Series of azalea by the University of Minnesota are ideal for colder climates.  ‘Golden Lights’ blooms in mid to late spring with Golden orange flower buds that open to golden yellow to orange-yellow blooms. These blooms are heavily fragrant. ‘Golden Lights’ may reach 4-6 ft in height 10 years. ‘Golden Lights’ has displayed a high resistance to powdery mildew.
