'Santa Cruz' is a fruiting female ginkgo tree that has a dense compact shape with an umbrella shaped crown. 'Santa Cruz' may reach 15 ft in height by 20 ft in width in 15 years. Fall color on 'Santa Cruz' is a bright golden yellow. Found as a chance seedling in Santa Cruz, California in the 1950's this ginkgo is excellent for the edible landscape.
