'Pink Ember’ is a native selection of a natural hybrid (R. bakeri x viscosum x arborescens) that Earl Sommerville selected as a seedling in the late 1970's. ‘Pink Ember' displays pink blooms with a yellow blotch in late spring, early summer. From a distance, the overall effect is a yellow-peach on 'Pink Ember', giving it something unique in the native garden. ‘Pink Ember’ may reach 3 ft in height and width in 10 years.
